Exclamation Z vs G

What made you choose the Z over the G? Personally I like the feel of how the G drives over the Z. But I like the styling of both. Just wanted to see some opinions from those of you who like both as to why you chose the Z?

which G are you talking about cause i didnt like the G37C. G37C is a normal person car and best suited with AT.
G35C is more a car guy's car with MT.

i kept my G35C cause it's a totally different car from my 370Z.

off the top of my head, i chose the Z because the G is more expensive, slower, not as good looking, and i see one everywhere i drive. plus with having no kids, i have no need for a backseat. my Z is my DD and only car.

Market-share. The 370Z is a very nice sports-car for the price paid, the G37 is a very mediocre luxury car for the price paid.

I had a G35 6MT and I loved that car, but it was a lease and I did not want to buy it out. So I looked at the G37 and I did not like it at all. So I test drove the Z34 and it was done. Sold.

Here's the list.
  • I could get in a brand new Z for 31k
  • Z is more of a sports car
  • I'd want a G37x, and they don't come with manual
  • G isn't my favorite car in that segment

All that said, I like G's. Like their owners, like running into them at Z meets. It's like we're cousins

That is kind of surprising. Do the two cars really drive that much differently ? . . I've only driven the 370z Nismo and Roadster. On paper, it's like they'd be similar b/c of shared drivetrain-engine. I'd guess the G has a more luxurious ride with its heavier weight.

I like both cars a lot. Infiniti makes very nice sounding exhausts- i love that
