the new imprezas are...bland. supposedly the STi and WRX line will look similar, but i hope they do SOMETHING. the WRX line deserves better than one of the most cut/paste designs i've seen in years.
yah, i had a legacy wagon from that gen. it was a nice car but had too many warranty problems one after the other. and subaru dealers are notorious for being arseholes in my area.... :ugh2:

but about a year ago the local dealer was bought off and i hear their service is much better now. :)

the spec b though? it's the big boy version of the WRX lol. it was a lot of fun to test drive. the owner who was trying to sell it to me called his a "creampuff" because of how well he took care of it. kinda funny, he thought i was one of the few twenty-somethings he's talked to about the car that actually appreciates the legacy :rofl2:

I had a World Rally Blue 2005 WRX. I have not seen a prettier WRX since. :icon23:

I'll be interested to see what 2013 brings for the WRX. The WRX & WRX STi are supposedly going to be all-new for the 2014 model year, and for the first time completely separate from the standard Impreza line. Subaru's styling has always been polarizing; love it or hate it. While I don't think the current WRX's look awful, I'm not a fan. I'm hoping that Subaru uses the BRZ's styling queues, as it's a genuinely good-looking car (IMHO).

I agree! cant wait to see all the aftermarket stuff for it as well

that would be great. the imprezas right now are purely utility. there's no real character in the design at all.

with that said, they drive nice. sorta.

Maybe it's my area, but I sure see more WRX/Impreza than Mustangs or Camaros

+1, here in Colorado, every intersection is full of Subaru's.

I think a subie with an exhaust is awesome sounding.. IMO they do get loud though!

As soon as my 2000 Ford Explorer dies Im most likely getting into a WRX. At least thats the plan now. The Z and my house are paid off so I really have no excuse. It would be so awesome to have a Z and a WRX in the driveway :yum: Plus with just an intake and a tune you get oodles of extra HP.
