That link is by far the best story of messing with a scammer. When the thread first blew up you didn't have to register, though... Basically the guy got a Nigerian scammer to get tattoos insinuating he was gay, and then got the guys friends to do the same. He then harassed the scammer for like a month. Well worth registering if you've got some time to kill. |
I almost bought a $42k bulldozer for $20k but then I woke up and realized it was a scam. I kept telling the lady over email to let me come look at it and that I would tow it but she insisted that it needs to be shipped for free. What's sad is, someone probably fell for the scam at some point, making it worthwhile for the scam artist to continue his efforts. :mad:
