Score one for McLaren. Eat it, b1ades!

What? I don't hate the McLaren, I just like the Italia better. Also since the McLaren was designed for the Top Gear track, it better go around it faster :bowrofl:

Fact: a Prius would leave an m3 behind anywhere up to 107mph, then the m3 only wins due to higher top speed

Only because of the tires

I read the times on that track and....wtf? Supposedly an RX8 is faster than a 575 Maranello and a BMW 535D beats a Noble M12 GTO?

Yeah, that standard of measure just became worthless to me.

If people look to Top Gear as a standard for objective facts, they may end up disappointed. I watch it for the entertainment value and for the cars.

Don't take it seriously. Just enjoy the show. Hell, Clarkson's going to contradict himself on a car every third episode, but he's funny.

And these cars are taken out on different days by a racing driver. The conditions vary from wet/cold, hot/dry, etc, etc. Who knows what that driver's natural talents are and why some cars go faster in his hands? It's not set up for consistent results.

 The times for the maranello and noble were under very wet and wet conditions respectively. Top gear estimates about 4 seconds slower lap times on average due to wet conditions.

Someone else already said it. but damn. this was my dream car as a kid. it was my dream car's dream car. I grew up with posters of it.... also the 911 and the r32 skyline gtr.

I mean as a kid if I had this lambo, it would be like being king of the world.

Car shows as a kid really set me up for disappointment in life. :shakes head:
