One rout I might take is see if a dealer here will honor that price and transfer the car here. I can do the trade in with them.

That might work, dealers transfer cars all the time. Still might be worth making the trip out to that dealer though. I'd try to work a deal over e-mail, thats how I got mine from Fusz. Agreed upon a trade value and the price of the 5.0 over e-mail then I drove out there to make the exchange.

There is ALWAYS room to haggle. Trust me. ALWAYS. Just depends on a lot of things... dealer, how long they had the car, how motivated they are to move it, how much they will give you for your car, etc etc... You just have to work it... Like a bad dent on car that you are doing PDR on. Just keep working it till it pops out. LOL

So the resonator is part of the GT500 axlebacks? or the OEM pipes ahead of it?

I noticed you and Steve are gung ho over Kona :) Why didn't you guys get Kona in first place?

I call em up, serious buyer, tell them what I am looking for, I want to pay invoice or less, here's my trade, will send you pics, assume showroom condition for my car, I want this much trade value for my car, I drive there, and if my car is not in condition I state it is, deals off. Simple. No playing around. Dealers respect that.

The aren't part of the axle backs, they are part of the over-axle pipes that run from the H pipe to the axle back.

If you look under the car you can see them. They are about 14" long and are crimped a bit (sound tuning).

I didn't get Kona because there were none available in the US when I was looking and I wanted Sterling Gray. I am happy with my color choice, but Kona is just one of those colors I will always like. I had a True Blue 2003 GT which is very close to Kona.

I like how Sterling looks very badass but is fairly low key. Kona is sort of the same way. My favorite, Race Red, is loud as hell.

Silver is awesome. There's a guy that goes by Digital_Synapse that has a badass Ingot Silver 5.0 slammed on gloss black 20" Forgestar F14s... sick.
