Is that not what I just said?

Z06 win and definitely not a ZR1 fail. The Z06 with the Z07 package is basically a lighter ZR1 with a bit less power. But these cars are to the point where the only way to really get them to go around the track quicker is to start adding downforce.

No, not really. The @ 100# weight is far less important than the balance. The ZR1 carries that 100# on it's nose.

The 60 mph hairpin was impressive as well... 1.8gs :icon14:

Anyone with half a brain would be able to infer that the balance was better after reading my post. ANYONE.

Why, because you said "It's a bit lighter?" Since when does "light" and "balanced" mean the same thing? In fact, you said "It's basically a lighter ZR1". Wouldn't that imply that you meant exactly the opposite--that they had the same weight distribution?

You can have your own opinion, but don't go trying to have your own facts.

I feel like scooping my eyeballs out and eating them after reading this post.

I know, I hate being proven wrong, too.

And it's pretty f***ing simple, honestly. Every f***ing person knows the goddamn Z06 is running less weight up front. I don't need to tell them something they already f***ing know.

But be a good Corvette owner and tell us anyways, even though we already know.

In fact, how does the Z06 stack up against a WS6 in a drag race? I am DYING TO KNOW.

But yet they need you to tell them that it weighs less, over-all, and also has less power?
Keep digging.

What exactly did I say that was wrong? Is the Z06 not lighter than the ZR1? That's the only way I'd be wrong.

m4a1mustang 06-26-2011 09:12 PM

It's OK, though. No worries. We all know your agenda.

You implied that weight was what mattered. However, the 100+ wtq #tq and horsepower easily overcomes the weight difference, and brake-fade is not an issue with the CC brakes. Balance is what makes up for that lack of horsepower because the Z06 can hit the corners harder, which makes up for the straights on THAT track. The 100-150# weight difference doesn't matter nearly as much as the balance. SO, all I was saying is that while it IS lighter, the difference in weight distribution is what does the trick. Then you said "I said that". No, you didn't. Anyone "with half a brain" can read your quote and see that you talked about DF, power, and weight. NOTHING about distribution.

Cool story, bro. It was implied.

Now I want the full run down of the Z06 vs. WS6. Tell me EVERYTHING.
