Not really... they feel about the same on the throttle. Its in the turns you feel the difference. Actually the G is more stable at speeds over 100mph. The Z feels more natural in the complicated twists.

It has stiffer springs but softer dampening to make the car handle better but stay comfortable at the same time. The engine is supposed to have a special "tune" and high flow exhaust with monster exhaust tips to make 348-350 HP.

So yes, pretty much a Nismo in G37 version but they all it IPL.. IMO its all cheesy and lame. Infiniti needs to wake up and really compete. No BS. How about an E92 M3 equivalent car?

S tune pads on the brakes. That's all.

I prefer the G35 looks over the G37.

I honestly can say that for the OP, this really isn't that bad of an idea. For all the **** people are giving you, at least you kept it within the Nissan family, similar car, just a little more luxury and a little smoother around the edges. In the end, who cares? At least you had valid, well thought out reasons for making the change instead of "more horsepower make me dik hard, me like"

You know....(no flaming please)...that's not a bad looking car. I do agree that the G35 looked better than the G37....but a guy could do worse I suppose.

Here's another IPL with good looking aftermarket wheels. The tire width and offset could be better (less stretched) but nice wheel design nonetheless:

It's carcialist, jesus. Just trying to head off another masturbatory tangent about Mustangs

I totally agree with you in your general statement. But if you look at it from a complete standpoint. Its kinda silly to go from a sport pkg to the ipl for comfort reasons. The ipl rides as hard as our sport. If he truly was concerned about comfort he would've opted for a base 370 with touring of a G37 without any type of sport pkg.
So its not the trade that's getting him slack... its the BS reason behind it. Just say, "hey, I like the ipl, so I upgraded or traded or I wanted backseats or a moonroof or whatever. TheIPL rides hard. So its dumb to say the ipl was purchased cuz the Z rides hard. Lol

We don't hate Mustangs... we just hate talking about them all day on the Z forum.:inoutroflpuke:

red6spd 05-16-2011 01:39 PM

If I had to get something more practical in the Nissan family in the ball park of the Z's price range I would get the G37 Sedan 6spd, at least that has an excuse to be a little slower it has more doors lol.
