no it was destroyed in the Tsunami.. currently trying to find one but there are only about 30 black editions in the country right now

MC 04-14-2011 04:06 AM

yeah LFA i think literally is the best sounding car ever

ducky 04-14-2011 04:10 AM

Just wow..both are nice though..

A.J@CarbonSignal 04-14-2011 05:20 AM

The only thing nice in the LFA beside it's look is the formula like sound. '12 GTR will def smoke it in all aspects.

HKYStormFront 04-14-2011 09:26 AM

substantially faster... interesting. do love the sound of the LFA but honestly that's about all i love about it. the interior looks nice but i just can't stand the way it looks, maybe i just need to see one in person...

Lfa sounds amazing the gtr is great. Lfa when dynowed only put out 515 stock has potiential for more especially tuned correctly. I would expect more for a 250k car.you can buy two gtrs and still have extra cash to play with. But the lfa exhaust.....not human freaking amazing

MC 04-14-2011 10:48 AM

Try a 375k car

daisuke149 04-14-2011 11:05 AM

the LFA driver was slower getting off the line. Watch the brake lights carefully as to who starts first.

In the end they were closer than I thought based on the thread title.

I wish they would run each car a few times on a proper strip and time that and compare. vs one run on uneven roads.

iM pretty much like.. :wow:

b1adesofcha0s 04-14-2011 12:50 PM

That was awesome. The LFA is way overpriced and you can't even own it! You have to lease if you want to have it. Don't know if Lexus has changed that requirement yet, but that's how it was initially at least.

Sucks to hear about your GT-R MC. I hope you find another one soon

It was late less than half a second off the line. It was like 1-1/2 second behind at the end. For $250K more than the GT-R, it shouldn't be a contest. Just goes to show how remarkable the GT-R has been engineered. At a road course, like the 'Ring, its probably a toss-up based on driver skill. The quickest LF-A on the 'Ring was at 7:38 with temporary road tires available.

It would have been cool to see a few more runs or at least record the times and trap speeds, but this pretty much gets the point across.

Insideline tested that lfa at 11.6... the 2012 gtr has been tested 11.0-11.2
