m4a1mustang 04-10-2011 06:38 PM

Sorry guys, but if this was really a production car and not a service mule I would be all over it. I love it. :bowrofl:

April Fools!

bigaudiofanat 04-10-2011 06:59 PM

I would drive it

b1adesofcha0s 04-10-2011 07:17 PM

Yeah, this was an April Fools joke from BMW, but there is one that actually exists and someone gets to own!

One post above mine -- it's an april fool's joke :D

This might be the fugliest truck I've ever seen.

Flame away but there is nothing rugged looking at all about this vehicle and I'd be scared to drive into a construction yard with that thing.

My guess is that aside from the occasional Euro/BMW fan-boy the sales of this vehicle will suck....

It's not an actual production vehicle, it was an April Fools joke from BMW. They made one actual one to get people talking about it and believing the rumor. That one is an actual working model that someone gets to keep.

Ahh ok, didn't read the thread, just saw the first post, and saw that it was posted today, well after April Fools so I never thought it would be a joke....

I would have been really surprised that someone at BMW actually thought that monstrosity would sell.....

It's cool. I never quite understood the concept of a high end luxury pick up truck either. I guess it's just for people trying to show off or be different. I can understand wanting a comfortable truck, but the extra premium vs less functionality is not worth it for something being used for actual work. I've seen Lincoln pick up trucks too. :shakes head:

Red__Zed 04-10-2011 11:33 PM

I would love it if they produced that.

erkthejerk73 04-12-2011 10:00 AM

i saw one of these on the road the other day, looked good!

If they did produce this, I'll go out on a limb and say it's the TOTAL PACKAGE. In fact, probably the best "bang for the buck" pickup truck for under 100k. Anyone else craving tea?

Loose tea only, no tea bags. It ruins the flavor. :)

Chances of you thinking you saw something you didn't -- 0%

Chances you saw a non-production vehicle that was put on the 'ring as a joke, on the streets of the US --100%

:ugh2:

how about we agree to disagree and i saw something that looked just like it.

Red__Zed 04-13-2011 10:29 AM

No man, I totally agree with you. BMW probably painted it orange and shipped it to US to take some laps.

:iagree:

They wanted to surprise you by making you the owner of the only one in existence. They painted it orange from it's original white just for you

Red__Zed 04-13-2011 11:20 AM

Guys, I was wrong. BMW has apparently been producing these for some time, and there are actually quite a few around the US.

blue660r01 04-13-2011 11:22 AM

Whether he saw it or not there's no reason to go around acting like a douchebag.

:ohsnap1:

I should go visit my nearest BMW dealership and pick one up immediately. Do they have an M verison? I want to trade my Z in for the best bang for buck supertruck under $100k.
