More time than money from what I know. Unless their fortunes changed with the Hanesville shale deal or something. Most have shops and just like to tinker.

The s2k from hell rebuild looked pretty expensive from what I saw. Hard to say though. You can spend a lot more or less than another guy just by having the right or wrong hookups.

Don't have a clue how that was financed. That one was "done right", from what I know. I do know connections probably paid a big role in things. I stopped hanging out with the group a few years back because all it was was high school type drama and a lot of yelling about who's whatever was faster than whoever elses whatever. A lot of people without the money getting in WAY over their heads on cars that they blew up trying to prove the point, and a whole lot of other mess. I wanted no part of it.
