My Genesis Coupe

Nice ride, I'm starting to see a few more of these in my area. I have yet to see one modded.

Thank you, and there aren't many modified ones in my area either. There are some out there making 400+ whp on the 2.0T, and a hand full of ones making 5-600whp. My end goal with this car is 375-425whp.

I've always liked this car. Lots of potential and you can go pretty aggressive with wheel fitment.

Your car is beautiful and yea that you do need some wheels.
That's for the 2012 car, though. Only the sedan has the new 3.8L DI motor right now.

Thank you. +12 is pretty agressive for the Genesis, as most do +22, but you gotta pay to play and +12 looks awesome on this car haha.

Thank you, and the 2012 coupe refresh should be getting a 340-50hp DI 3.8.

Thank you Dai. I need to detail my own car sometime haha. And the exhaust is a bit quieter than the last set up, but it's a nice change. Now I just have to get the fitment issues settled.

Purty.

What's the 2.0T put down stock?

Hatch or trunk? Thought the former, but looks like the latter?

Stock I put down 187whp and 213wtq on a DynoJet. And it has trunk, no hatch.

Alex thanks for detailing the Maxima on Saturday dude. It looks great. I'll get in touch with you about the Z. I may also want you to do my 65 impala. I may drive it around this summer a bit.

Looks good man

I saw a modded one today. It was black and had a body kit. The front looked really mean with the body kit and it was debadged + had a different grill. Only saw it for like 2 seconds but it looked really good.

I like the car overall, but something about the nose of the gen coupe always bothered me. I think the grille should be a little higher up. It kind of looks like someone sat on it. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

How much is the stock turbo/engine/internals good for? That is some sick torque! How solid is the rest of the driveline?
