Left STL yesterday around 1PM EST, stayed overnight in Huntington, WV and then got home today around noon. Gonna have a thread up with the trip stuff in the next day or two. :driving:

i don't understand this trade. the z has the better handling, more advanced suspension, better interior, and the more exclusive more exotic look to it, compared to the dime a dozen mustang. the z is more reliable than the mustang. the z also holds its value better than the mustang in terms of depreciation. the mustang has the more powerful engine and straight line acceleration, but how much money did you lose on the trade in and the price of the new car? you could have bought a supercharger for the z which would make the z match or exceed the straight line acceleration of the mustang, which i believe is the only reason why anyone would trade a z for a mustang.

You are set in your ways, so I will just leave you to wonder. No point in trying to explain my reasoning to you. All that matters is I'm happy.

I got what I wanted out of the Z and now I'm enjoying this one. So let's just all be happy because we're all happy, right? :hello:

Now that you picked it up don't forget to go back to the dealership and get the Sammy TSB applied

Ah, but it works! Seriously, if you don't like it, fine. But if all you can do is bitch about it, :gtfo2:, there's no point.

I made a choice about the car I drive. I'm sorry that somehow my vehicular decisions have a magical way of bunching your panties and causing you discomfort. :icon18:

Have a friend developing a brand new 5.0 mustang for the last 3 months and Ford created a new ecu map based on problems with the stock map that he pointed out.

So they were going to just flash his car but then it would have been illegal for the SCCA pro solo and Solo Finally for this year. So a new TSB has been created and all mustangs can benefit from Sammy's work...

His was the third car flashed (you can guess who owns the other two), and it seems to have fixed all the problems. He is currently kicking the crap out of the Shelby Mustangs at the SCCA solo finally events.

He took Pro Solo by almost a second (which is a lot in auto x) and we shall see if he has obsoleted the Shelby Mustangs by Friday...

That's awesome! I will have to look into it, though down the road I am going to get the Steeda CAI and SCT Tune so it's probably a moot point. But that's awesome that Ford did that for him.

I wish Nissan gave us that kind of support.

Kirkster 09-07-2010 08:10 PM

well Sammy is very well known in the SCCA corner and basically has flogged everyone with the Shelby since 2007 (with the camero before that).

So when he told ford there was a problem they listened and sent out an engineer...
