1. There are five. There will never be more. THAT'S exclusive. 2. 2,341 lbs, 680 hp. Need I say more? 3. It has matching headsets on the seats. There's a reason for that. :D |
i'm assuming that's a mclaren F1 GTM? thank you for actually posting why :tiphat:
great choice btw |
Mazda Miaita by far

Even though I love fast cars I don't get too worked up over unobtainable cars. I mean hell even if I won one in a sweepstakes I still couldn't afford a tax penalty or insurance for the car. So dare I dream about a different sports car other than my Z. I could reach to a used porche cayman s or lotus Elise.
|
did anyone actually read the first post?
i didn't ask if you could afford one, i just wanted to know what was everyone's fav hyper car and why. monty :wtf: lol |
Zonda I like, but I would not mind having the Porsche 918 spyder :D I'm no hippie but hey you'll get great MPG while still having 500 hp

then do just that and get back with me on it. without hypercars, technology for the average car would never move forward. performance standards are set by cars like this. new tech is debuted and perfected on these cars. we need hypercars and the average joe to lust after them in order for them to remain that status.
|
New tech is developed by teh gubment.
|
I'll take one of these (110,000 hp) :

Here's one that hasn't been mentioned yet:
http://www.gingerasia.com/HtmlAreaIm...y_jonsibal.jpg 1) Super sexy inside and out. 2) Likely not to ever see another one. 3) Even if you could afford it... you can't have one. |
One-77 is definitely an awesome car, i wonder if top gear will ever get their hands on one? i know jeremy has a stiffy for AM's. good hyper car tho:tup:

That is the Thrust SSC-
0.04 miles per gallon but she'll do Mach 1, no joke. |
impressive....... not really a car tho... more like a jet with huge engines that doesn't fly lol
|
... Are those the engines from the enterprise? lol
|
Those are the biggest Turbonators I've ever seen.

^^ definitely a sexy car worthy of lusting... S7's showed the world that america really could build a car to compete with the other hyper cars out there

a lotus with a v8 seems like a great idea but the car wasn't really made for that kind of power. light hi output 4 bangers that rev high, yes. but not big boat anchor (in comparison) v8's... would i like to drive it? sure. i wouldn't want to own one tho. also, probably not any easier to get in or out of. if you've never tried to get in a lotus you have no idea what i'm talking about. it is one of the most awkward things you will ever do in your entire life and i'm not kidding

oh i totally agree that practicality is out the window with cars like these (in general) but at the same time, i'd like to be able to get in and out of the car without having to fall in or out of it. also, having said that, the lotus exige S is one of THE BEST cars i've ever driven ever... it was like a way overpowered go cart with 10x the grip. i <3'd it!! but i'd never own one.
|
|
Sweet. I bet if you actually drove it though you'd be disappointed. Very few vintage sports cars stand the test of time when comparing performance and handling. Styling ... that's another matter.
