I think the VW Beetle was one of the best cars ever made. They are woven into the history of this country. And yes I owned one at one time, it's the only car I've ever owned that went up in value while I owned it. A 1961 convertible, with 40HP!! I had to sell it when we were building our new house and the money ran dry. I still miss her 3 years later. =(
