More performance can be had with components and a quality build, for a lot less..

I'd encourage you to contact Sean Morris, our GT-R specialist here at STILLEN, we brought him on for his knowledge and depth of the GT-R.

His email is seanm@stillen.com, I guarantee he'll be a valuable resource for you.

Well my father doesn't really like dealing with english speaking people since he doesn't understand any of the language and he doesn't trust me with advice on his car. :roflpuke2:

We currently are working together with a GT-R/Z tuner here who has always worked on them and has a high reputation of 0 engine failures.

He can pretty much do anything, installing kits, customizing engines, enlarging them (he is working on a 4.2 liter 350Z currently) making custom pistons and stuff.

but advice is always welcome since that guy I work with isn't a elitist ******* :roflpuke2:

Vegitto-kun 02-07-2011 05:26 PM

lol necro post but felt like updating the state of the GT-R

My father has now ordered

HKS intercooler

http://www.advancespeedshop.com/blog...3001-AN013.jpg

HKS dumpvalves

http://www.hksusa.com/images_products/L_3744.jpg

HKS racing suction intake

http://cougar-raceparts.com/shop/ima...R35%20GT-R.jpg

and custom COBB tuning

and after a year or two when he gets tired of the mods he will

rebuild his engine with mods by some company named JUN or something and put on

HKS GT800 GTII Turbo Kit

http://www.hksusa.com/images_products/3932.jpg

and stuff like gearbox cooling, reinforcing the gearbox and so on.

Some company JUN....
Read: JUN AUTO - JUN AUTO JAPAN - HIGH QUALITY PARTS AND PROCESSING
They do some of the best engine internals for JDM cars, very expensive but very good.

Well it was the first time I heard of the company so yeah :roflpuke2:

If I remember right the complete engine build was around 30.000 euro = 40.773 dollars + the cost of the turbo kit.

Tom was drooling over the pictures he took when the rebuild engine for a R34 came in. :roflpuke2:

theDreamer 02-07-2011 05:45 PM

JUN will not be cheap, but if they are still as good as they were with the RB26/SR20 era motors then it will be a very good build.

Vegitto-kun 02-07-2011 05:48 PM

Well the engines they made sure look pretty compared to the way stock looks :roflpuke2:
