so you have both mids aimed at the driver? what you may think is plenty of space to a mid may not be. most mids are designed to be ran IB in a door or if its in a kick the kick has to be fabbed a certain way so that there is enough air space in it for the mid. Have you contacted the company to see how much air space is needed for that mid yet?

bigaudiofanat 03-16-2010 04:55 PM

LOl no man and I do not plan to. Plenty of people run speakers in fiberglass pods. I do not see where there will be any problem. Plus mids like to have an enclosure they are not made to use an entire door as there box or enclosure.

well here's something i bet you didnt' know. most of the ppl that run kicks don't have the back completely sealed off they have it vented into the carpet or the firewall or the dead space behind the kick. remember i know alot more then you.

horsemanwill 03-16-2010 05:09 PM

matter of fact why dont' you do a lil test. build yourself a lil sealed box make it as small as possible. bout wat u think that kick is then listen to it. then build a bigger one and do the same thing. i promise you'll hear a huge difference.

and if you don't have the stuff to build a small and larger box. take a plastic bucket or bowl and glass it to make it stiffer and do that.

speedfreak28 03-16-2010 07:11 PM

You really do need more space for the kicks than that, i told you to put them in the door and go low with the midrange.

And as I stated he did not want to cut up his doors. It is not always about what the best placement is, its what the customer wants as well.

horsemanwill 03-16-2010 08:00 PM

bigaudiofanat 03-16-2010 08:13 PM

If I know you it is not from this forum. You only have 7 posts on this forum so I am not familiar with your user name on HERE. Lie to people? I do not think so.
