Toyota could suck my D**k

Toyota wants $100,000 for the Supra. Any POS rich or poor shelling out that kinda money for a $57k car is a roving idiot. Period! I couldn't not throw away so much cash just to be the first guy on the block with s Supra.

For a supposed dead market... they sure are confident in the gouge price... Azzholes...
If the market is so dead for sports cars. Why make them less attainable. There's some new world order market control happening in the car world. People need to wake up.

I checked with all my surrounding dealerships. Only 1 of them will have one by the end of August and it is like an hour away. The guys says they will be selling it for $57,514. Figure i'd go on a nice drive to take a look at it when it comes in. The claim is that it will be at port by end of July and they should have it at dealership by end of August.

Meanwhile, Chevy just announced the 2020 Vette will start around $55,000.

Good luck with all that, BMW.

First aftermarket exhaust for the new supra and it sounds sweet, never heard of the company though

Saw the new supra today at a local Toyota dealership and it looks way better in person. It was the launch edition in black w/red interior, my jaw dropped on how gorgeous it was. But the dealer is marking it up at 30k! They only had one and it was being detailed in garage, salesman was nice enough to give me a peak.

If the C8 doesn't get marked up. Toyota dealerships is going to pay the price.

Good point, I don't remember if the C7 got marked up when it first launched in 2014?

They didn't. Maybe in SoCal at a dealer or two they did, but in general, nah. Toyota has done messed up. Idiots.

Chevy is not in the habit of marking up. You get your rogue dealers who try. But usually. GM doesn't markup or deal down. They sell at MSRP until GM pushes an incentive.

That said. I hope this puts pressure on Toyota and ford to behave. Lots of die hard enthusiasts of various brands are talking about abandoning ship.

But if the Supra was 5k or 7kcheaper? I see it still successful despite this game Changing car killer.

It's also a great time for Nissan to make a Supra competitor of equal performance at 5k cheaper.

The mazda inline 6 motor is going into something as well. What will be the cost??? Shyt just got real.

I'm not sure if the C8 is a good thing or a bad thing in the enthusiast world? Itll take 5 to 7 yrs for other car companies to be competitive.

Supra is one to two years too late, the c8 is the only real choice in this price range unless you are a fan boi.

I’ve never been a big vette fan, and I’ve never been willing to spend $$ on one, but with the c8, I could see that changing. Still wouldn’t give up my current sports car for one, but I’d love to add a mid engine vette to the stable in a few years. :driving:

Back on topic, I still like the new Supra, but it’s msrp price point was already pushing it imo, and any markup is just insulting to customers. But then again, a fool and his money...
