m4a1mustang 12-22-2009 09:06 PM

That's horrible. Man, some people probably shouldn't try that stuff!

didymus 12-22-2009 09:43 PM

Why did he keep revving it? WTF

frost 12-22-2009 09:47 PM

And here I thought he was going to slam into something. What an idiot.

Pharmacist 12-22-2009 09:51 PM

how did that happen? a clutch is supposed to be strong enough to break the traction of the wheels. unless the moron kept the clutch slipping till it overheated.

Exactly what I was thinking.

SilverBullet 12-22-2009 09:52 PM

Hopefully it is just the clutch. Engine problem would be much worse.

MC 12-22-2009 09:54 PM

yeah i think he slipped it until it started smoking... you can see when he got out of the car he had no idea it wasnt a burn out..

SilverBullet 12-22-2009 09:56 PM

No one told him it wasn't? Why did the let him keep doing it if the wheels weren't spinning?

I know, it's like, have you ever done a burnout before? Because if you did, it seems like you should know how it feels.

MC 12-22-2009 10:04 PM

obviously the lack of rear end vibration ...... and no one stopped him forgodsake.. i mean i would be yelling STOP STOP as soon as i saw the tires wernt moving

SilverBullet 12-22-2009 10:05 PM

lmao. That's what I said. Why didn't anyone tell him the wheels were not spinning when there was that much smoke.

"My god, this is the best burnout I've ever done, no vibration, no squirrely rear end, hell, the tires aren't even making that annoying squeal. I'm really doing awesome! Smells twice as bad though"

SilverBullet 12-22-2009 10:07 PM

Wouldn't you hear tires screeching......

SilverBullet 12-22-2009 10:08 PM

Its a silent burnout.

Oh yes, let me add that above.

theDreamer 12-22-2009 10:51 PM

What I have been trying to figure out from watching this earlier is this the owner of the car or the shop tech who is suppose to be changing the tires, and thought it would be cool to abuse another person's car.

well i can actually understand that part ive heard many times over the years the tradition of destroying whats left of bald tires before switching them out.

Forget never did a burnout, I can't believe none of the rest of them have never SEEN a burnout lol. "I guess he's so good we can't even see the tires spin".

HI-larious!

SilverBullet 12-23-2009 12:11 AM

Maybe they were talking about burning out the clutch.

hoodust 12-23-2009 12:28 AM

One thing is clear, they are clueless. You see the guy pop the hatch to check out the smoke? :rofl2:

He forgot to turn the traction control off. On the Corvettes you have to hold down a button for 3 seconds after you start the car ... he never did. I lol'd but only because they were nobs, otherwise I thought it was sad.

SOLISIMO 12-23-2009 04:23 AM

He didnt even know how to open the hood, see how he popped the trunk at first lol... money cant buy brains

Dreadnaught 12-28-2009 09:46 PM

I love the look on the guys face when he gets out of the vette walks around to the other side and starts looking at the car. He's like :ugh2:

NewlyIMPORTed 12-28-2009 10:05 PM

Dreadnaught 12-28-2009 10:46 PM

No...actually it is quite delighful! I just love it when someone just pisses away their investment for a moment of ego that doesn't amount to jack-squat about anything.

:icon18: yea goes to show ya that you cant buy common sense. in a burnout, its the tires that are supposed to be burning, not the clutch.

Chriz 03-07-2010 02:30 AM

This one is pretty bad too...
Trans AM Clutch Explodes! - Car Videos on StreetFire

dropped1 03-07-2010 08:11 AM

ahh ****. It hurt to watch these videos. :shakes head: Clutch smells MUCH different then tire. ahhh

Reminds me of my buddy in his saturn...LMAO. He decided to roast his tires, till the belts came out and ripped his entire wiring harness/ecu out of the car. He had recently pulled the tranny...and left the fender wells out leaving the wires exposed. I have the video on an old tape around somewhere. I need to find it!!
