God i miss my cayman s...i know its no 911 turbo but nothing beats a mid engine porsche for handling and for 15k there's a company an hour away from me in jessup Maryland that will turbo charge a cayman via the "gt3 slayer" package giving it around 550whp again with mid engine handling. I get goosebumps just thinking about it

All Nissan had to do with the current Z was offer a turbo version, and price it at 50-55K or so and it would have sold. I have a 2009 911 C4S now and I love driving it. I had a Nismo Z and I liked it too, it just needed more power and refined engine. The chassis, aero effects, and brakes were great. I could have added boost on my own but it seems that people that do that are always chasing something to fix or some CEL. TPC is the company you are talking about in Jessup.

Nissan won't be able to sell a Z past $50K with the current infiniti engine unless that Z is a 450hp Nismo.

Nissan going silent devalues enthusiast interest in Nissan.

Here's Nissan mentality.

Ghosn: We made great sports car yet America has criticized it and hasn't bought em up in droves.... we're mad let's make EV'S instead even though Americans aren't buying those either...

Product development: Mr Ghosn, what about the 80,000 loyalists who bought Z's and the 150,000 350z owners waiting for a Z35?

Mr Ghosn: Fvck em let them buy a leaf or let Kia outdo us and take our enthusiast clientele with their 2800lb 375hp coupe, like the one we falsely promised our fanbase. :ughdance:

Jungle Z.... the most annoying profit in history. Smh.

I'm shooting for the Alfa but I'm a Kia fan!!! Kudos to Kia for having balls and not a Mangina like Nissan. I'll keep my Z and hold on to the memory when Nissan had a swinging d1ck and didn't make pansymobiles for bleeding heart Prius drivers.

Obviously the manginas at Nissan are too busy reading Vogue, cosmopolitan and out magazine to be on on our forum.

I'm sure they're at the lab trying to make new paints for the Rogue sport to match women's lipstick and colored boy panties.

Nissan lost its edge. Cuz the biggest news Nissan has is a 141hp Rogue "sport" and 200 miles on a leaf.

True, how hard would it have been for them to drop that engine in the Z...not hard at all. Sounds like the first person that gets a wrecked Infinity and drops the motor into the Z get a prize. But yes, its all green this and that now with extended range and that with Nissan...blah.

I posted in the $60k for a Z35 thread regarding the Z and recent NAIAS news.

Kia is crushing it, and they're nowhere near the money machine Nissan is. We're down to a philosophy discrepancy here, not a business one. Nissan could afford to use the Z, like the GT-R, as a sellable marketing tool. They would rather not. The only people that can get things moving in the product planning department in that company are those that can speak crossover.

Think about it - two of Nissan's "newest" SUVs/CUVs are ones that have been sold in Europe for the last five years before their debut in the states. Hardly innovative. Marginally competitive (Armada).

I would rather see someone like Kia eat Nissan's sports car lunch at this point. Can't wait to see the Head 2 Head with the Stinger stomping the vagisil out of a Maxima on a track.

Kia was fn fast when the ran in the Cadillac World Challenge and you get 10 year 100k warranty for the non-moding folks and for the moding gang oh my it will have great price point per horsepower.

Nissan makes a REAL sports car. Camaro isn't a sports car. Corvette is a different type of sports car based on power and dimensions.

The Z has just enough muscle, direct and responsive steering loads of feedback over 30mph. It's not 86 light but it works. And nobody has that with a useable trunk for less than $55K. Z may be low volume but it's a car you build because a Z is a religion!!! Ghosn don't get that shyt. He thinks the EV blade glider is exciting news???
