I daily'd 2 different Lotus Esprits for over 4 years. Not an issue. You do it if you want to. First was an 86 and the second my 94 S4. Total fun. Nice way to leave the office knowing you are climbing down and into something fun for a drive home. Made waking up and driving an event.
