When they were in showrooms, they were cool but not the world-beaters people think they were. It took the aftermarket a few years to catch up and make them the Supra we think of today. Plus, they were expensive as hell new. They did get the hardcore domestic guys to start considering imports, though. |

Stopped in here to see if this car is still vaporware. Not disappointed.
Toyota is getting as bad as Nissan at product launches. |
Geneva is half over. And all they did is reveal a racing CONCEPT.
And BMW does not seem to have presented its Teutonic brother there either. I guess that a proper launch is still aways away. IF EVER. That's the game with highly anticipated new cars. You wait and wait. The media falls for the hype and tries to whip up excitement (because "media" is all about drama anymore). Then watch dealers try to put premiums on the first ones to hit lots. For a Toyota? No thank you. I'd really suggest going out and buying any of the the AVAILABLE, proven, good, fun cars already on the market today. New or used. By the time that's worn out, there might be a Supra on the lot for you. |
I was at the Geneva auto show on the last day. I saw the new race clad Supra. Nothing awe inspiring, IMHO. I really liked the looks of the Alfa Romeo 4C (in silver) and Alpine A110 (in blue) though.

Of course, your local fire department will be happy about that... https://www.topgear.com/sites/defaul...5/alp2_116.jpg |
I don't know if any car is 100% fire proof but the reviews on the Alpine A110 have been quite spectacular. Some say it is even better than the new Porsche 718.

Especially since the new Porsche 718 engine sounds like absolute crap. Even aftermarket exhausts cannot fix it much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The stock 370Z exhaust isn't particularly harmonious for an NA-6 sports car - but fortunately can be improved with some modification. Speaking of which, I have to get on that for my wife's car this year. What's the recommended catback exhaust for "robust, mildly annoyingly loud with deep and exciting tone"? (sounds like the description on a wine bottle) |

The recommended CBE is the one from FAST INTENTIONS. I love mine.
