^ehhh I'd take the Toyota FT-1 over that. The Lexus LFA is terribly underrated.

The FT-1 is a fantasy car and won't be built.

Sorry bruh. But it's true... Toyota originally had no intention of making it. But it was so popular, they considered figuring out how to produce it...

Now they said again ... They are not making it but will inspire the next Supra. Toyota can't make sports cars anymore affordably. They lost it in 98. Unless you want FWD sports or pay out the *** for the LFA lab experiment. They ain't producing shyt.

This LC500 Lexus is the best hope. N they charging 100k starting... If it's 3,800lbs or more? It won't be worth it.

N I'm sorry but... $380,000 for a so called exotic Toyota is just not cutting it. If the LFA was $220,000 I'd say... Wow. Kool. But the LFA build quality lacks way behind the Italians. People can make the case for carbon fiber. But all that CF didn't make it faster than cars 3x less expensive. So that's why I call the car a lab experiment. Aka nice try car. Not worth the money.

mini lfa

The side profile is very interesting, but this cars weighs a ton and doesn't have the power or transmission to be competitive anywhere in terms of performance.

The most exciting aspect of the LC 500 is that it may well be the platform that is shared by the eventual FT-1/Supra.

It looks like Lexus is putting out a lot of good looking luxury sport coupes that are way to bloated to take seriously as performance cars. Basically, they're turning into a pre 2012 Mercedes-Benz.

It is a Lexus. They cram a bunch of luxury weight in their cars. When we gutted my IS300 for track car purposes, I couldn't believe the amount of sound deadening we pulled out of it.

That's why I'm more interested in the Supra. But this LC is a homerun and a half
