I am hoping for a na 4rotor electric hybrid...Mazda did an amazing job styling wise with perfect aesthetics that resembles the beautiful FD in the rear and the long sweeping hood..just sex on wheels. Just hope the engine and as well as price is promising. I would pay 50K for this..Shut up Mazda and take my money!

i miss my 95 RX7 bastard LS1. I am happy to see that there may be a replacement. Hopefully this will come to be in the next couple years. I'll probably be in the market for something like that in 2018. Heres hoping!

450 Is hopeful wishing, if it does, Mazda is looking to compete with the corvette and higher end Euro sports cars. Of it is the RX9 Will be expensive.

Yeah, the larger displacement will make some more power and supposedly a decent amount more torque but I don't see it getting over 300. Maybe with a turbo on a speed version. They ended the speed3 so I do hope they make a replacement.

Actually I was right, Mazda is aiming for the RX-vision to compete with the corvette and porsche caymen s and not our beloved 370z, and underpowered brz/frs If thats the case this will be a mid 50-60k car that will weigh less than the last generation RX7(FD3S) which was about 2800lbs. Im starting my RX9 savings bank.

yeah, i hope that is the case. I loved my FD RX-7 was such a great car, I really hope that the 9 is an updated FD essentially. By the time it comes out I will be ready to sell the Z :)

I know what you mean, I love my z but the fd3s was a special car. Very few cars you can get attached to and the 3rd gen was that car even though it has reliability problems. Nissan has to make a move before the rx comes out. I'm happy the JDM sports cars are returning, future looks exciting.

i would much rather see a mazdaspeed version of the 3 and 6 and miata.
