Purpose built track car....fast and furious
 

I have decided to sell my Diasio D962R. I hate to do it but I am taking care of my dad and it's a full time job and has consumed all of my free time.

I am the original owner of car #7 and have invested a lot of time and money making it a safe, fast and dependable car. The car is as fast or faster than a Formula Mazda and has the advantage of a closed cockpit as well as a passenger seat.

I will post a list of modifications, spares, as well as pictures and links to videos. We run it exclusively at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Il.

Track times are as follows:
Full track: 2:23
South track: 1:23
North track: 1:02 (recently did a 1:03 with a 195# passenger)

This is a full turn key set up with tools and spares

I feel I have it priced fairly ($76,000) considering the list of spares as well as all of the modifications.


The car is very fast and caution should be exercised as the car is not for the inexperienced driver or the faint of heart. In is capable of turning close to 3 G's in turns. Much faster than an Ariel Atom, Noble, Elise, 911. It can stay with GT3 Cups daily without an issue and is much more affordable for parts.

Car has been completely gone through, sorted and all modifications were done to make is reliable, easy to maintain and fast! No expense has been spared to make these changes and no short cuts were taken. I have had only the best people around work on the car.

Will consider trade and cash for the right street car......

Thanks all. Pictures are at Autobahn Country Club. Someone is going to get an awesome car. I have poured a ton of money into it developing it to beat most anything out there short of a CHAMP car. I'm going to get some videos uploaded, hopefully tomorrow, both trackside as well as onboard.

There is nothing quite like a ride in this beast. I've driven cars with 3x the HP but this car weighs less than 1300# so it doesn't require lots of HP to scare the crap out of you. The shrill of 9000 RPM is another sensory delight!

Found an error in spares list. Spare Avons have (1) heat cycle on them, NOT (12).

I will be uploading onboard and track side videos from yesterday against Formula Mazdas and a Ford Spec racer. They didn't have a chance against #7. Ate em up and spit them out. :owned:

The car ran absolutely flawless. We were informed yesterday that ABCC is going to let us run with Porsche GT3 cups again and all other GT class cars.

They still park the Audi's out front of the clubhouse? Hard to tell lol. Looks like it may be a CTS-V...

Also, nice, tight laps man - you know you're using all that track when the white lines on the edges of the track are disappearing between your car's body and the camera, and that's a TIGHT angle :)

They have a lot of different cars available for the track members to test. It's early in season, so a lot of them are not there yet. So far seen a Cayman, 911, CTSV, 63 AMG. Audi should show up this week or next, usually they bring several models from TTS to R8.

We have the track down to the inch. Been members since it opened and have thousands of track miles. Ryan is a track instructor there also.

That's awesome man, really shows in your driving. Neat and tidy laps - I loved that track when I was there. Quite forgiving for a newbie, for sure!

I will be uploading video from this morning later on this evening after conversion to youtube. We did the full track layout at ABCC, 3.56 miles and 22 turns. Temperature was low (53-54 degrees) and battled 30 plus MPH winds. Did real well considering the conditions. The car was rock solid and stable in the crosswinds. No issues with car at all. Fueled up and ran it then did a once over the entire car and took it out again. Not a thing needed to be done other than fuel. This is how a race car should be. Tire check shows that 90% of the entire width of fronts and rears are being used, so the camber is spot on. Ran a different set up today on tires and that increased terminal speed by 5 MPH coming into braking zone on the long runs. :tiphat:

Turned low 2:30;s with a 2:31.7 best. A dry, hot track and minimal winds would have helped.

my god i wish i had a spare 49k laying around for a toy....... cant even imagine how fast this thing is if you claim its faster than an atom V8. jeebus..... i would be in the wall so fast.....

Thanks. Time to find another toy now. Looking for one I can use at track as well as on the street now. The field has narrowed. Looking at:
2014 C7 Corvette,
2012 - 2013 Audi TT-RS (with APR upgrade),
2011 - 2013 Nissan GT-R,
and finally 2012-2013 Porsche Cayman R.

Solid list, for sure.

My GM fanboi feelings would say the C7, just because of how great it looks. The Cayman R would be right after it.

Wow man, when you have to attach a .doc to your post to show your mods list you have a lot of mods. I honestly think I would sh** myself with glee to drive this thing.

Other than CHAMP or DP, nothing could beat us. Car is headed to the great Northwest.

I'm looking at a 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition or 2013 Audi TT-RS and putting a stage 3 APR for my next ride. Either way it will be fast too.:driving::driving::driving:

Dude I pretty much saw all your videoes above and what a machine that car was! If I had $50k laying around, I'd buy that car in a heartbeat. An amazing machine you've just sold. One lucky guy got a great deal. Congrats on selling and it's great to see you're helping your dad when he needs you the most :tup:.

I must say, I really don't want to let the cat out of the bag but I have been eying out GT-R last month or so. Buying brand new may not be an option so I have been looking at used. I pretty much know EXACT GT-R inventory in United stats on Autotrader! :icon17:

But After coming from what I have just seen (an Atom killer), GT-R my friend is your next car. You'll thank me later :). Have a great day.
