Napa Run Sun 2/23/14

If anyone is interested in going let me know as I will need to reserve your spot on the drives list. Here are the details and no there is no event page on FB nor the forums. I am not organizing it and the only details are below:

********* The message I received ******************************

Day drives are informal events. These drives take the group on fun back roads with stops for food and photos depending on the route. Routes for these drives will never be posted. To learn more about a scheduled drive you must be on the drives list.

FEB 23 - Sunday

Napa Day Drive
8:30am - Meet and greet
9:30am - Leave for drive

Starbucks
1450 Travis Boulevard,
Fairfield, CA 94533

The plan is meet people in Fairfield, loop to napa, lunch, photos at the vineyard, then back home.

************************************************** ********

Caravan from Sac will meetup at the Chevron station just before the Yolo Causeway.

7:45am - Meet
8:00am - Depart

Should be a fun ride with Lambo's, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, and some exotics.

Early bird gets traffic free roadways

Most all of the runs I have been on whether organized by me or someone else start NLT 8 am for several reasons. Traffic is #1, more daylight for longer runs, or more daylight to still get home before dark to be able to do something with the family. The later in the day there are pickups towing boats thus causing slow downs. Just a few advantages of leaving early. I don't one advantage for leaving later in the morning at 10am - 12pm. But hey it's just my opinion.

I didn't even look at the time, I'd be lying if I said I had something better to do on a Saturday morning. (Sleep doesn't really factor in when it comes to the car) ... ok it does... but it doesn't.

Damn. I completely didnt notice the post by ZForce about the run and thought we were talking about our Z run. So... can I get a spot or is it too late. I am going to go ahead and wake up early and check this.

Edit: And not quite 5 hours later... on the way, thanks Zforce.

Wasnt expecting to be held to my word quite so quickly... this is rough lol.
