Just show up still drunk and tipsy from the night before. Don't go to sleep, just power through it. Little mountain of white powder for breakfast, good to go.

I do a little over 2 hours a day in my z (mon - fri). Not really feeling a 4 hours cruise around Livermore on new years day... Think I'll pass on this one guys.

I really don't want to get up prior to 0530, how about meeting at the Chevron at 0630, does that work for you? Given the traffic situation early on new years day we should probably get there about on time anyway.

Let me map the time distance and see when we would get there from the Chevron station in W,Sac. There is a little lead way from arrival time and breakfast. I will get back with you. I think it can work but want to check to make sure

I will not be able to make this run. Kate and I are spending New Year's day together and are filling it with a long hike along the American River Parkway and a movie.

Happy New Year to you and Kate. Enjoy !!

There is some lead way, we could arrive at 8:30 in Livermore and still catch breakfast. I know it's early, I have done early morning departure before.....lots of coffee, and road trip snacks. A co-pilot helps as they can always drive the first and last leg (all freeway) to the start point and the return drive back to Sac. I understand thou, it's going to be a rough morning for folks that party the night before...Meh..I will be washing the car New Year's Eve and hopefully get to bed by 10pm.

Reused the stock ones. I have a more agressive bar setup on my Lexus and have yet to tear the ends up. If you find you really need rod-end style links, then go to J. Milano's in Stockton- they are a general machine supply house- they stock metric rod ends and couplers. I made some end links for my Scion for about $20... (stock ones too long)
