If people want we could meet up in Auburn and cruise 49 to placerville, then head back on Hwy 50 and stop at red hawk (lots of parking available in garage). Another option is salmon falls to 49 and finish in Auburn.

Are you guys talking about riding down Folsom blvd/Jackson rd (16) getting on 49 then headed back on 50. If not where would we get on 49. Sounds like a good plan for some rolling shots. Red Hawk is nice.

Well I guess Auburn wasn't exactly what everyone had in mind. I'd like to keep building upon what we started- maybe we can go back to a simple meet up. I'm free this Sunday (the kid has a scrimmage tomorrow), if not, then let's keep putting something out there until it sticks. Everyone I've met is a definite Z head and it can only get better. BTW, I did get the fog light to work with the parking sensor switch. Looks pretty cool. Crank pulley and oil cooler next...

Let's do another simple meet. There's a cool little spot that I like to frequent and I met up with "1st" there last weekend. A place called Final Gravity on Sierra College Blvd and Eureka Rd in East Roseville/Granite Bay area. Let me know if and when you'd maybe be down to hit it up. Yes, I'm going to make a J-48641 crankshaft holder ($245!!) over this next week. Hopefully we can meet this weekend, then I can take the car apart. The tool will make this job simple- you can borrow it when I'm done- any of you will be welcome to use it...

I can for a little bit on Saturday as well. i'm going over to Onzedge's in the morning to have him test drive my 40th since my short shifter feels really sticky.

@ Ninja - Making the mounting plate took me the longest since i didn't have all the tools to manufacture it. All in all, had I had all the tools together like i do now, I would say it took me 2 hours tops to put together. I bought the total kit for $275 with everything i needed. below is my final product.
