The reason I ask cause theres a Z car club known as Z Owners of Northern California. But not strictly a 370z crew

ZForce 06-11-2014 06:44 PM

Friend me PLEASE to get the details. I will try to cut and paste some of the synopsis of the run here.

They are two different runs. Northern Z Drive is being hosted by Chaz, he drives a Z32. And there are a wide variety of Z's and G's, Corvette and maybe a Jetta...haha

It's open to all sports car enthusiasts. :tiphat:

You bastard! That's my favorite kit! Can't wait to see it.

ZForce 06-12-2014 01:03 PM

Great minds think alike ! I wanted this kit from the start but it was not ready until a couple of months ago. I love the current theme on my car, its just that one piece added to it can ruin it totally, which it did. Too busy up front, plus I want a super clean look with out the added ducts and latches.

ZForce 06-12-2014 01:05 PM

Super Dave, if you come across burnt tips, let me know. I need 4" diameter 2.5 inlet. A guy in Australia has this kit with F.I. exhaust and his body shop was able to add the additional tips. So it can be done...just need to find them. No success so far on flee-bay. Any help would be mucho appreciated.

SuperDave 06-12-2014 03:48 PM

I've been looking for the same, but rolled. I have blue burnt tips, but I want rolled blue burnt ones. Motordyne exhaust comes with both, but I've had no luck finding someone who hasn't use their blue ones.

ZForce 06-12-2014 04:31 PM

Looking for double wall rolled similar in the pic

So im putting together a canyon run with an ending at the "No Where Airfield" for Saturday the 28th. This would be an all day event and would start a little later in the day. the start is 1 hour south of Sacramento so we would Meet downtown around noon and caravan down to Manteca for a quick break at In and Out Burger in Manteca and then move onto our route.

The AAM tips are nice, but a little too purple for my taste. I really want the motordyne tips. Will those fit the zele rear bumper?

ZForce 06-13-2014 02:38 PM

I am checking right now with Fly1 whom is manufacturing replica Zele bumpers. The Zele pipe and bumper is 4.5 " with 2.5 inlet. He told me the other day that his ports on bumper will only accept 4". I shot him the link this morning in a text awaiting reply.

Jeremy at AAM (forum rep) quoted me $89 per tip. Pricey....but if they work I'll grab 4 of them.

I should check with Motordyne and see what he can do for me.

I am not a fan of "burnt" pipes, but I suppose it's true that there is no accounting for taste.
