Yes, I bought these from DEpointfive0. Dude was awesome with shipping and paypal and the whole deal. I did want to step up to 285s in the rear, but the price point for these tires and the rims, with mounting and balancing was just way too good to pass up. Even threw some Godspeed blue locking lugs on them. So yea, they are the OEM tires, size 245/40 and 275/35.

NINJA 11-02-2013 11:28 PM

Very nice. OEM potenzas are great. RE-11 are not OEM. I want to switch to 305 in back, have seen a few posts with this setup. Looking forward to seeing your setup next Saturday.

I did not know that, honestly, I was so excited for the wheels, I paid no attention. Thanks for the info. I contemplated 305s when I started my long journey searching for wheels, but being naturally aspirated, I wouldn't go wider than a 295. I think for your nismo, 285 / 295s are good. But then again, I like to spin my car around in circles and turn rubber into smoke. I like being able to break traction on demand. 305's would look super mean though! Plus you could move them to the GTR when the time comes!

Stock? I love the look of the 285s. Nice and fat and should take up the rest of the room in the wheel well.

CB, not sure if you're an amazon prime dude but... HERE

$250 each, shipped 2-day, plus if you have an amazon card 6 or 12 months interest free...

Cbtech 11-03-2013 12:55 AM

I do have prime, which is pretty badass, but I can get those from discount tire direct for 223 a piece.

SuperDave 11-03-2013 12:57 AM

Good deal if you're not paying shipping. I guess they are a little steep on amazon, tire rack has them at 450 for the pair shipped. I just like abusing my 12 month interest free deals on amazon!

SuperDave 11-03-2013 01:00 AM

You could step it up to a 295 / 30 Hankook V12!!!

Cbtech 11-03-2013 01:05 AM

Is that even possible? ??

sent from my tv-lap-a-magig-a-thing

SuperDave 11-03-2013 01:25 AM

Says it will fit on a 10-11" width rim. The sport rays are 10" in the rear. I think its preferable to have a 10.5" rim though. Hankook specs here.

Yeah stock. You should go for it. Great price the ones Dave listed.

Those were over priced actually. Gonna have discount tire match onlinetire.com for those same tires. I'm looking at 450 out the door for 2.

Good to see your home shopping network skills are getting some use. Now if only those Martha Stewart DVDs gave you some benefit.

SuperDave 11-04-2013 05:26 PM

Speaking of mods Ninja, I'm not a fan of plasti-dip, however I do think THIS looks amazing on a white car. When are you doing yours?

I'd like to have mine painted at some point. Not plastidip though. Maybe if I ever send my lights to OnEighty. Complete the black accent look. Although I think the handles may look better in a dark gray like the 40th color.

Ok so lets change it up a little bit. This time we would meet in Placerville and cruz 49 up to Forrest Hill Road to Mosquito road. We would meet at 10 AM on the top of the placerville town hall garage. Leaving by 11. Once we run the gauntlet we return to Starbucks on Elm road in Auburn to regroup.

Lets Get a list going and dont be Nickshoelace :superghey: and flake.

Also on this run I would ask that people bring 2 way radio's so we can have communication while on the cruz. These have worked in the past and saved us from losing SuperDave on our last run. If you have extra's sharing is caring and would be great

Cbtech 11-07-2013 12:48 PM

I'm going to be riding solo myself also I don't know if you guys don't mind leaving a little later I'm going to be running behind. I probably won't be able to get up there till about 1130. but that actually might be okay if shoelace in the front of the pack then I can catch up
