Looks like a nice run at Bremerton!

Pacific Raceways may be open on Saturday's during the winter. Last year it was great. Show up on a dry winter Saturday, pay $100 and get over 2 hours of seat time on the track! This year has yet to be announced but stay "tuned"….pun intended.

Titan1080 09-05-2012 08:49 PM

Was a fairly fast course this time! My times were reasonable before cone penalties, I thought I hit 2 maybe 3 cones on one run but the results all say I never hit more than one... then again I was not impressed with the cone workers and the radio operators.

Results for Class SA

Did you happen to pull that oil cooler off your Z before you sold it?

Nikon FM 09-08-2012 12:41 PM

Everything stock and non-stock was sold with the car…sorry about that. I have a bunch of 5w-30 Amsoil I can't use though. You are welcome to it.

Iv'e been having a great time running the 996TT on the track and daily driving it. I've definitely put some more cash into the car as I've worked through weak points based on it's age and previous owners "handling". Next up is clutch/light weight flywheel and then a bunch of upgrades to stock components.

Titan1080 09-09-2012 02:02 AM

Nice! That must be a fun ride. I'm definitely interested in picking up that Amsoil, I'll give you a buzz sometime soon. I was looking at flywheel/clutch combos the other day and I'm thinking down the line that is something I want to get eventually, after two sets of tires, coilovers, oil cooler....

The 2013 BSCC auto-x season kicked off today, need to actually get new tires instead of saying I will!

almost went today but I stopped by the opening for california tint.

deuce189 03-18-2013 08:39 AM

I was almost about to go myself, but got up too late and didn't feel like getting the later ferry. Next time i will though.

Titan1080 03-18-2013 09:48 PM

^^I drive around, cheaper and the ferry doesn't save you much time unless there's a bunch of traffic.

ah didn't know there was an event lol. next time. I wanna do a day at the ridge.

Nikon FM 03-20-2013 09:57 AM

The Ridge Motor Sports Park is awesome! Get out there and run it!

Spec Jay 03-20-2013 07:01 PM

whens the next beginnner event bruce? I dont think they'll take my autocross time as track day experience =P

Nikon FM 03-20-2013 10:57 PM

I'll sponsor you into a Porsche HPDE. You'll go in as D class with an instructor but it's a great start.

Oil cooler is a must.
Dot 4 brake fluid…( mogul 600)
Good level pads
to run you'll need to have an inspection done too. I can email you the 2013 form I have.
Proper SA2010 rated helmet or you can rent….I guess if you autocross you probably have the helmet.

I know this seems like a bunch of stuff but when your on the track with sometimes $250k cars there's a a strong effort to minimize trading paint risk. It's pretty fun to pass a Ferrari or Audi R8, Viper…. GT2s

but it's all about the driver not the car

I think the cost is ~$250 for about 2.5 total hours of seat time driving (~30 minute sessions per run group) and the cost also includes lunch.

lineyho 03-27-2013 06:17 PM

I'm interested in this kind of stuff. No track experience though and just got the car. Not sure how to connect or find events in Wa like this and shows etc. Is there somekind of local website that tracks events locally ?
