Stage charges about that much. And a couple shops down is cantrell, which quoted me about the same price, from what I can tell they work on vettes and porches. My opinion is that speedware gave me a better alignment, they gave me less camber and more symmetrical toe, and they load the car with the drivers weight during the alignment.

ill ask if i can get em. but why would you want the old ones? they dont have enough pressure to pop the sport hatches properly.
and turns out they decided to change my headlights too for some reason:confused: so now i have to get them reclearbra'ed

meh nothing wrong with new ones right?

tjlazer 05-05-2010 11:14 PM

I had my hatch springs changed too and they wanted the old ones to turn into Nissan for the TSB on this issue...

azn370z 05-07-2010 01:04 PM

Tzlazer invited the 350z guys. There's a premeet at joes, the parking lot behind eastside Nissan at 930 am for anyone coming from Bellevue. I think they're thinking eating at teddys after the meet.

Nikon FM 05-07-2010 10:47 PM

they actually place the alignment rack into a pit so the car drives straight on to it. usually for cars with clearance issues lol

If there is a meet on Saturday I cannot make it…………….(driving at Pacific Raceways…..hopefully no rain)

stunner253 05-17-2010 08:17 PM

What do you mean by driving at pacific race way? Are you going drive it on the track? If you do can you give me some info? I want to watch, thanks!

Spec Jay 05-17-2010 08:42 PM

Uptown Car Show to Benefit Susan G Komen for a Cure

PoP! 05-18-2010 08:51 AM

can anyone recommend any racing school around seattle?

Nikon FM 05-18-2010 01:52 PM

Here's what I know. If you join BMW or ALPHA ROMEO (sp?) car clubs you can do high speed driving days at Pacific Raceways with instructors. I have a friend who sponsers me for the Porsche club days. I am considering joining the BMW club to get more track days in. There is also advertisement (bill board) at the track for a "race school" but I do not have that information.

Before driving at the track is allowed (for the Porsche club at least) there is a driver's skill day(1), ground school(1) and car inspection(1 per year) required.

A lot of stuff up front to do but I've found the information offered useful.

The Porsche club is hosting a high speed education day on Saturday. I'm paid and signed up so it is a done deal. The event goes all day long (~9 to 4). To clarify this is not racing, just high speed training….no timing allowed.

I'm still a lower class track newby so I'm just figuring things out and having fun with the car.

PoP! 05-18-2010 10:03 PM

@nikon_fm can you give more info on the education day? kinda intersted and want to read more on that. thanks.

daleks 05-19-2010 12:37 PM

I'd be interested in doing this this Summer as well.

One Day High Performance Driving | ProFormance Racing School

I found that link on the Pacific Raceways site. Anyone here don this?

PoP! 05-19-2010 10:57 PM

proformance is kinda expensive. someone told me that there's a racing school thats much cheaper but i forgot to ask where is it.

djpathfinder 05-19-2010 11:23 PM

I would be interested too. I'll be visiting Seattle in the latter half of August and it looks like there's a class on Mon Aug 16...unless these guys would do a 370Z group class and a different date can be set??? :driving:

MotorsportReg.com : Online registration management tools for driving and social events

The above link has a listing for all driving events……..everywhere, but you can narrow down the list by searching x miles from your zip code.

1. Register for a driver's skills day with the Porsche club….usually held at Bremerton speedway. The is the first step and is open to anyone/car. ~$80 including SA2005 helmet rental.

2. Join either the BMW or ALPHA ROMEO car clubs (they can run with the Porsche club at the Driver's Ed days….high speed driving at Pacific Raceways)…..cost is club dependent

3. Car inspection based on the Porsche Clubs criteria ~$100. More information can be found at:
Driver Education | At the Track | PNWR | PCA

4. Sign up for a high speed or drivers education day on: MotorsportReg.com : Online registration management tools for driving and social events and pay ~$200 ish
5. Attend the ground school "seminar/class" ~2 hours and $10 and you are good to go for the track.

Essentially this is not racing but training on how to drive your car fast.

What is really cool about the "classes" is that there are some seriously high end cars that come. These people just want to experience driving their cars quickly on the track and minimize the chance of rubbing paint.

There are definitely different options out there to get on the track but the above is most of the process I went through.

PoP! 05-20-2010 03:35 AM

@nikon_fm
thanks for the info
anyone wants to join for the driving school?

I'm thinking about it. I heard the one in Bremerton is easy and cheap to get into.
