Yeah the mall security guy actually stayed there while I was hooking up my iPod and talking on my cell phone. As soon as I went down the ramp he scooted off. Honestly he should've been more worried about the guy in the white Civic with the yellow headlights that circled around us three times. He was obviously waiting to see if we were leaving our cars unattended.

A friend of mine is the marketing manager for U Village. I'll see if she will give us a pass on 'assembling' on their premises. During the Summer they already host a Cars & Coffee event for classic cars. Or we could just stick to the Barnes & Noble parking lot in Southcenter since that seems to be working. There is also Golden Gardens, which is a park so no one can tell us to leave. However, if the SPD wants to come and try to write illegal mod tickets (no front plate, no cats, modified exhaust, etc.), then it could be troublesome.

The mall is definitely not a place to have a meet. If we want to meet outside there is plenty of parking on the side of the bridal store next to best buys. The u village works too. Let me know if you guys want to have a weekday meet again. I don't think I'll be able to go to any Saturday meets.

How do you like the TEIN springs so far? Was thinking about getting them for my Z. How much of a drop so far?

Nitex 09-17-2010 12:58 PM

Tj I'm holding off on a deep dive review till i have a few more miles on them. So far build quality is excellent, and my shop liked them very much. Supposedly so much so, one of the employees was swearing on buying a 370+tein springs :icon17:. Initially i was worried about the rear drop, but i forgot i had removed my spare and all my tools/fittings etc. After putting everything back in it seems to have evened out some with the front. Also I'm hearing these springs sag a good bit. In the end expect over a 1" drop all around. Some say closer to 1.4 in front, and 1.2ish in the rear. So far I'm very satisfied with ride and build quality.

For more pics check out my370z album on my profile. I will update in a week or so once sag has come down, and i have a better impression of the ride.

:ninja3: Advertised drop is .87F .75R with a max of .05 sag. But as other 370z + tein spring owners have commented, this is a very conservative number.

:ninja3:I'm now definitely not stopping in Southcenter, I got to be in Auburn in the morning now...:(

For the north-end guys, the Burgermaster in Bothell is a good place for future meets, has a nice covered area and they love having car meets there, good burgers too.

That would be a good place as long as there wasn't another meet there.
