Yo Keith!

I'm coming home from a business trip that weekend. I might be catching a red-eye home which means I'll be landing in the early AM with time to trek up there with the Z. If not, well.... shucks. I see there's nothing for 370Z awards - guess we're still a bit of a new thing eh? :P Anyways, hope to make it up there.

I just learned we had a Typo on the Reg Form. It will be corrected. 350Z and 370Z will be in the same category as our Friends in NJ are doing the same for thier show. No Worries, the 370Z's look Great you guys should do well(I said just the opposite on my350z.com

Feel free to come by just to spectate too...the more Z's the merrier.

Two days away...

Weather: The latest forecast calls for "mostly sunny with a high of 65 degrees". So it's shaping up to be a perfect day to spend outside with the Z's. In case the forecast changes, please check the web-site for any last minute updates.

Goodie bags: With T-shirts, dash plaques, club magnets, keychains and other freebies included, I am confident that people are going to get their money's worth this weekend!

Registration: Given the few remaining days until the show, please do not mail any more registration forms. Instead, please bring a completed form with you to the show. Forms can be downloaded at http://www.ctzcc.com/ShowRegistrationForm09.pdf. Forms will also be available at the show. $20 day of the show.

Car #00013: If you were not fortunate enough to be at our last meeting, you still have an opportunity to meet the owners of Car #13 and see it in person at our show. This car is believed to be the first Datsun 240Z available for sale in the U.S. and it's significance in the collector car world cannot be overstated. It appears that a feature article on this car will appear in the November issue of Nissan Sport magazine.

Food: Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase from The Dancing Dog concession truck So bring your Z and a co-pilot, but don't bring your lunch!

Raffle: 50/50 and table raffle tickets will be sold until 1:00pm. Last year's 50/50 winner took home $102!

Entrance: There are two entrances to Middletown Nissan. So as not to disrupt their normal operations, we have been asked to use the entrance on the far left of the dealership.

Parking: If you are not going to register your car in the show, please park directly across the street at Middletown Nissan's overflow facility.

The Yellow 240Z is car #13. Ther first 240Z (1970/built in 1969) offered for sale to the general pubilc in the US. The car had been in hibernation for our 25 years and just came out. The owner started talking to one of our members at another car show when he confessed he had the missing #13. More Details Here: CTZCC.COM :: View topic - GREAT NEWS! Car HLS30-00013 FOUND IN CT!!!

The Green one is #171, still one of the first 500 240Z to come to the US.

Two fine examples of very original early 240Z's

The owner was not online and had no idea everyone was looking for this car #13. Nissan Sport Magazine is expected to do a cover story soon.
