Racing Classes
there will be prizes $$$ for winners in each class but to says its not worth it if your N/A :shakes head: its just a fun day for anyone who wants to run there car on the strip . even if your not planning on running still got a parking lot of nice cars too look at and then we get to see the GTR.s run and make everything look like it was in slow motion :excited:

Last year they had heads up N/A Z class & bracket n/a Z racing. This year the Z N/A cars will have only bracket racing. While bracket racing has some good points, like a 15 second Z has the same, no better chance of winning than a 13 second car, much of the excitement will be missing. One car takes off, the second car tries to catch & pass the first car, then when it does pass & wins the race most people would think that. Meanwhile it broke out & really never came back to race again.

It would not be fun when for the final run a 14 second automatic z racers a 15 second automatic z. After the race, it won't matter who crossed the finish line first, only after the announcer says who the winner is is when you know who won. Also the manual trans cars have very hard time to compete with automatic cars. Staging, consistency, & take off is like two different worlds.

This is just me but since I'm not racing, I won't drive 2/3 hours just to look at some cars or to see modded GT-R's that are not price wise in my world race each other.

Sometimes it's hard for me to be clear. Is there something you didn't understand? I'll gladly explain it, neighbor:)

If you don't want to go, or weren't invited that's cool. I am trying to figure out why you are badmouthing it so much, and across so many threads. Just my 2 cents

Yeah I don't know who he's trying to talk to in that thread but he is quoting himself and responding like there was someone there. If anything it sounds like he is deeply disturbed and a bit mental about not being allowed to participate.

He just wants to let everybody on the 370 site know he has the fastest NA 350 time. Again. Dude, just put your time slip in your sig and be done with it. :p

Good idea, I'll try to do that.
Thanks

The event will be a blast no matter if you have a N/A 370z, FI 370z or a razor scooter. It's a great event to see awesome Nissan/Infiniti cars, meet fellow enthusiasts and have a great time.

I feel guilty because of some of my posts

Last year I was grateful & very happy of what the sponsors of the Atco meet put together. It was by far my best day at the track that year.

I hope this year's event is as good & better.

All Z's owners should try to make it. It's the best time to see many different Nissans & see how fun drag racing is.

The new bracket racing will give EVERYONE a chance to win.

After having gotten a chance to have a great time last year, it was wrong for me to act the way I did.
Sorry,
Andre

Bump because I was not very nice. Nothing that bad, but I should have considered my good times last year & should have acted a little nicer.

andre12031948 09-18-2013 02:42 PM

a bump for the Atco meet on Sept. 22nd

I was always promoting drag racing, and had a great time last year. I had my emotions take over & I took a low road.

I reminded myself that I was acting like the low life person I met at a dyno meet on L.I.

So I'd like to take, if I may, my posts back.

The Atco meet is an opportunity to see many Z's & other sport Nissans, as well as some cool people.
