Legend Nissan Syosset NY tinting/service?

Hi there!

New to the forum and maybe I'm taking a long shot on this one...

I negotiated an option of a few things on my 370Z purchase this week that included an option of window tinting at the dealer.

Is anyone familiar with Legend Nissan in Syosset?

I've been checking out the forums and I've hear shades of grey is great and that's within a few hours of me.

I've also considered the clear bra from everything I've been reading as well. Does anyone have any comments/experience/advice for Legend or shades of grey?

Anything else highly recommended in the NE?

I went to Legend, dealt with a few salesmen and they turned out to be true idiots. Anyways, I had the tints on my first Z done by the dealer(Atlantic Nissan) and it was an alright job. Now I just got my new Z and have yet to do tints either. But the new and very popular tint place on LI is apparently Evolution Tinting. I'm going to probably get my tints done by them sometime soon myself.
I've heard great things about them and plus they come to wherever you are and do the tints. Check out their site Evolution Window Tinting Long Island New York Automotive Tint Residential Commercial Window Film

Where did you hear about it? Does anyone have any experience with them?

I'm also curious about their quality as I'm looking to do tints before winter comes. Their website shows that they're a mobile service (EVO Tinting), that's interesting. So they come to you? I don't like how they use computer cut out though. I prefer hand cut tints to ensure that it's fully wrapped and not exactly enough.

I've been emailing/waiting for a response from Savage Motorsports and 180 for tints. They've given me pricing, but when I asked for an appointment, no response. Guess they don't want my business.

Evolution Tinting is on Instagram as well and have lots of pictures of all their work. They have done Lamborghini's and exotic cars.
OP, does your car happen to be Black Cherry?

How'd you hear about Evolution Tinting? The facebook page looks good and I spoke to them on the phone today. They sound very knowledgeable.

It just seems odd that I can't find any reviews about them online.

Don't email savage, call them, they're good with calls and calling back if need be. They did my Z, and if you look at a lot of the other tinting threads, a decent amount of other cars on here, or friends of people on here. They did mine, and my clear bra, and I can't complain. $180 sounds about right, might have even been $150 for the tints. I'd easily recommend Savage, and will probably bring every other car I own there till they close for tints and/or clear bra.

Sometimes there are no reviews for some companys, doesnt mean they arent genuine though. And of course some of em are new shops to the block who have opened up so their reviews will be crazy and/or not true and have to be taken with a grain of salt, so its always good to go into their shop and or listen to what they have to say in order to make a proper decsion about whether they are worth defending as a reputable shop

Evolution Tinting did my windows and front windshield strip... came out great. pretty good price too considering they drive to you. Think it was $180 (including the windshield strip). Evolution has had themselves set up at all the major shows on the island the last half of this year promoting. I found them cause they were in a photo shot from RAD... figured if those guys are using them then they must be good

I think I was in there just before you. I saw he posted a white 370 on Facebook just after he did mine.

Thanks for the suggestion on them. Was quick and looks good. Ill post in a few days once I give it a bit more time to settle and post some pics!

Haha yeah I went at 2:00pm, he told me he did a black 370 before me so it was you. It looks good so far, I haven't put my windows down yet.
