Greg

I'd like to be there this summer as well.

I'll always be autocrossing my cars, but I want to try out the track cross and get out on the north track to stretch my legs.

Might even take my bike up there if I'm feeling exceptionally brave this summer. :ughdance:

If anyone going to do the 4/18 trackday at PittRace in Group 1 or 2 better hurry up and sign up. Already have 16 people signed up for it. Last year, they only took 25 people.

If you haven't ever had your bike on the track I highly recommend it, You'll learn more about riding in one track day than you will in a year of road riding. I lived in Colorado for 10+ years where they have arguably some of the best roads and riding in the country, They're incredible. After a dozen or so track days on my bike I pretty much stopped riding it on the street. I ended up getting my road race license and pursed one of my life long dreams of racing.

The difference between riding on the street and track is on the street you never go through the same corner twice. On the track you keep going through the same corner over and over again so you can make small changes each

time and actually see and fell the differences, plus the learning curve is a lot quicker. On the track you can learn to trust your bike so much faster, which it turn will make you more comfortable and give you the confidence to ride harder. Being fast on a bike is all about learning, trusting and being one with your machine. Once you trust it and have confidence in your ability and the bikes, it'll do what you want it to and you'll be comfortable doing it.

It's really is the only place you can ride are hard as possible and push your own limits in a safe environment and a track day is cheaper than any ticket you'll get, especially on a bike.

I'm looking forward to tracking my Z but it'll be nothing compared to riding on one.

350Z in Morgantown

Looks like a nice ride for sale in Morgantown. A friend sent me the link knowing I'm a Z fan.

2005 Convertible Nissan 350-Z

I spent the day with the polisher and M105 and M205. I then put a coat of Mothers California Gold Natural Formula Pure Carnauba. It turned out looking great.

Seen that 350 in the auto trader last night.

You want to polish mine up?

FPenvy 03-16-2015 01:55 PM

FP, it seems quite a few peeps are up in arms over the latest Facebook posts from C and C about the new rules/regs this year. Have you reviewed them? Sounds like you have to be a current member to attend? Is this true? That will be a deterrent for the casual fan to stop by and check out the cars. A real shame if it goes down that way.

I haven't reviewed them yet. I will go check it out now and get back to you all.

Sidenote: coming home through wexford the other day I had 3 370z's with me. A bc one I've seen before but there was a black sport package and a bc sport package I haven't seen yet. May have new friends around.
