It's not hurting her. Imagine that teenage girl who wants a new dress but her parents say that she has plenty of perfectly good clothing so she "accidentally" runs all of her whites with 1 red shirt.

You car is the teenage girl and the fenders are her perfectly acceptable clothes and your gf is the parents that say no

yes but i'm lookin at houses so fender are a low priority at the moment lol :bowrofl:

That's exactly why I want to buy things like LTH or HFC but knowing that all that money is just spent doesn't make me feel right about it.

I think if I moved and had a different rent/daily driving situation it would be different, but as it stands I need to think and evaluate my priorities... damn I must be growing up...

Doh! So the Mrs. said she is on board for an exhaust system if it has a Ferrari sound. I said I'll need to add six cylinders for that.

Lol! I set you up for that one. Seriously which setup would have a low, deep growl to it? I've listened to quite a few online and am drawn to the Berk sound, but would like to hear it in person too.

probably LTHs and the FI 12/18" res and SS cans would be pretty deep

I figured that would be the case. I make the car a project for both of us so in all actuality me not buying parts means that I am taking away parts of the project. Thanks for talking some sense back into me
