Hurricane Irene

Well, it is about 1:20am reporting in about 10 miles west of Annapolis. Worst parts of Irene have passed, only light rain from now till 6am. Power didn't even go

Well, it is about 1:20am reporting in about 10 miles west of Annapolis. Worst parts of Irene have passed, only light rain from now till 6am. Power didn't even go out in my area. Had some strong gusty winds but no downed trees or branches for that matter. Hope everyone else makes it out lucky like I did.

Fortunately Annapolis and DC got spared the full brunt of the storm. Ocean City took more of a hit.

NYC/Long Island is up now. Good luck folks.
