I wouldn't have made it tonight anyway...my best buddy was in a motorcycle accident today. His condition is stable, but he has many broken bones and his face is totally beaten up. He is unconscious. It hurt to see him in that condition, had to choke back a few tears. He's a young guy too, 5 years younger than me.

this is BS. got my Z last wednesday, found out about this the very next day, so i was looking forward for this today... drove out there and encountered with nobody -___-

No scam. People there are very nice. Nice cars. All together it's the nicest weekly meets Iv ever been to. Even though I don't have the z anymore I'm still gonna go to this meet every week

Damn Arnold, I'm so sorry to hear about this. I'm glad that he's in stable condition.


I'm sure this has happened to all of us one time or another lol. But it's really important to read the forums before rolling out to this meet. If you look we all posted prior to the meet that we wouldn't be coming. I feel bad you had a bad experience and I hope this doesn't turn you off to coming in the future.

I did check. I did see that a few people said they wouldn't be able to make it althought I thought others would. I am most certainly not discourage to go again. I'd love to see some Z's family members but I just wanna make sure if it is or it is not happening instead of taking a drive for no reason. If it was back when gas was $2.50 I wouldn't mind but this crap is close enough to $5 a gallon -__-

I've held meets before at Floyd Bennett Field. It's a national park patrolled by NYPD, make sure no one acts stupid there. LOL. I've always gotten permits for my meets, $75 for the whole day and will allow hundreds of cars to attend.

Your right a permit is required and we have one & no messing around here. But its a great place for a meet. I'm typically the only "Z" when I roll with these (Camaro) guys but they are a cool group as well. With very Nice rides\mods.. I would love to roll up with you guys to one the meets. We always have a good turn out & its well organized.

Just checked & they are going to move it to next Sunday because of rain forecast for this weekend. Let me know if you guys interested for a run to Floyd Bennett Field. I will post the details if you guys are interested.
