Yes, and it's $80,000 in Canada.

Anyone around Knoxville TN area have a new Z yet? I've still only seen a single one from afar going down the highway and really want to get up close soon. Dealers in my area don't seem to be getting them, or at least if they have it's just been an allocated order that was never listed. Hoping to see one at Cars n Coffee.

Just checked Nissan’s site last night and they’ve already bumped the base price to $42k. Base on the Nismo is $65k.
Guess I won’t be getting one anytime soon. |

saw the sticker for a nismo Z, it was about 78K, with dealer markup
they are waiting on the car, it is actually the 2nd Z they will be getting |

$60k cars are the NEW $40k car. Between supply chain issues so dealers get so few creating a huge supply demand issue - along with dealers being greedy - it has made it difficult to find 'fun' cars or ANY cars for that matter at a reasonable price.
All we can do as consumers is 'let it rot on the lot' and refuse to buy one till prices come down but with people willing to spend ADM on new cars - I don't see it ending anytime soon. |
Agreed, I'm still fond of my 370 and don't feel the need to get out of it. But I'm also keen to see the new one in person to make my final call. Otherwise, if I could ever find a manual one at MSRP, I might be a Supra owner instead. Neither is a reasonable option at this time considering I refuse to pay any kind of markup so might as well bide my time and do more research.

Honda Civic Type R Z Nismo (only if its manual which right now it is not) Supra manual Acrura Integra Type S But yeah, it seems like most of these cars are carrying an ADM and their starting price is already pretty high - so for me - I'll just hold out and wait for the used market to get something once prices return to 'normal' |
best drivers car out of the test but worst transmission. some good praise for the nismo. nothing you can't do with a z with spl suspension bushings/arms for half the price but w/e |

Though we are on the back-end of COVID19, the global supply chain issue, paired with 2 wars, is not helping with the replenishment of the supply chain. Simply put, there is too much demand compared to supply, which will significantly drive up pricing (inflation). The exact same thing is happening in the housing industry, where there are still too many buyers (despite rates rising) compared to homes available for sale, so meaning what once was a $200K home pre-COVID is now close to $450K post-COVID. Same concept with the auto industry. Don't expect pricing to come down any time soon. Don't believe me? Check out the article below: https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/02/cars/...-dg/index.html |
