i think more than a new bumper would be ideal
get some wider fenders in there too the Nismo GTR has i believe 20mm wider fenders or thereabouts, plus basically some TE/CE variants |

Too bad ‘ideal’ and ‘realistic’ are very different things. I think we’d all be shocked if the Nismo Z ended up with a wider body kit and TE/CE variants. I’m just hoping for a bumper redesign that isn’t overstyled, maybe something like the V1 370z Nismo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The regular z already has optional Gram Lights so I don’t think some forged wheels are asking much
Rays already makes 370Z wheels and GT-R wheels so the relationship is there Speaking of which This is a long shot but for anyone that’s sat in the Z at an exhibit - is there any change in headroom? I’m guessing not since the interiors are so similar but that’s the one thing that might tempt me to switch platforms |
agree... missed that more muscular look from the 370z. wider fenders and wheels would be ideal. Also tune the motor to work with 91 octane fuel as 93 octane isn't available in some states.
So far the performance and look is good, but not great. Quote:

Savagegeese puts the Z against Supra
|
Quote:
455ish crank hp . Wtf, they advertise it has 380crank hp lmao :icon17: |
Watching savagegeese video about the 400z vs the bmw supra, I c why the supra is more expensive. They mentioned the supra is a closed deck whereas the Nissan is open deck.
I'll be in my bunk! |

And nissan should of made the engine a closed deck at least. Kinda of disappointed. Z still looks good. I'll be in my bunk! |

I finally watched savageGeese’s video; as usual it is the most detailed and educational video available
They mentioned stiffer components at the swaybars, mono tube vs twin tube dampers, and increased front camber but fell short of explicitly answering: Are all suspension pickup points the same as our cars? I.e. could I throw my coilovers and arms on, theoretically/ |
haven't had any confirmation but strongly suspect suspension points are exactly the same.
(z1 has some Nissan Z control arms listed with the same part numbers as the 370z control arms.) Throttle house makes great vids. Some good local Toronto car content. EDIT: the other Toronto car channel: |
