Good luck op...also see if they can blend instead of doing the whole panel...dunno hate for you to get a super new door&quarter to be super black an shiny compared to the rest of the car... May not be noticeable but your eye might catch it and your gonna wanna run over people
I would check out a good paintless dent repair guy. Probably cheaper than your deductible and if the guy is good, you will forget you ever had this problem.

Not sure if the police would do anything, we have vehicle reporting centres around here to look after such things.

Sorry for you and your Z.
:eek::shakes head: me too--

I called and that's what I was told by the Geico rep. I guess it couldn't hurt to call again and make sure.

This is from thier website

Comprehensive coverage pays for damage, less the applicable deductible, caused by perils such as fire, wind, hail, theft, vandalism, falling objects, and glass breakage
Maybe they considered your situtation a no-fault collision?...I really don't know.

Holy crap. I think I pay like $120 a month in insurance with a $300 deductible on my 2012 nismo through USAA o_O

Do you live in beirut or something?

lol, it's probably cheaper in Beirut. That's what I pay with now with the $750 deductible. I even took that stupid defensive driving course to get it lowered. I honestly didn't see something like this happening. This was probably the one time this when my car was is in a sketchy area....and I was only there for an hour and a half. I was in Bayshore/Brentwood area. :mad: FML. I can see my car all day outside my window when I'm at work and it's either in the driveway or garage when I'm at home. I figured if something bad happens, something really bad had to happen.... & $750 wouldn't be so bad. Boy was I wrong. It's over $200 more a year to lower it to a $250 deductible. I'm thinking of definitely biting the bullet and paying a bit more with a lower deductible...maybe $500 (about $100 more a year). What do you guys think?

Police report and then call insurance. You should not have to pay your deductible and your rates will not increase.

speak to insurance company.

The 0 deductible depends on the state. Just like glass damage from rocks and stuff hitting your windshield, some states don't require a deductible for that. For example when I lived in MD in their state when it's vandalism or hit an run your deductible is cut in half but still charged.

Cmike2780 08-04-2012 11:24 AM

Update: I went to a PDR shop and they couldn't fix it without messing up the rest of the panel. The dent is to knotted and the other one is too close to the seam. FML. This fukn sucks donkey nuts!!

falconfixer 08-04-2012 12:10 PM
