ESCL, Steering Lock Acuator, Steering Lock Module

Hey Z Fam, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!

I was curious to know if any of you had a work around for the ESCL, Steering Lock Module/Acuator? My car has seized and will not start, acc mode or anything. I have already tried the fuse removal technique and that worked well for several months. I know this may sound silly, but EVERYTIME it gets a little colder than normal my car acts up and does this to an extent, but now its FULLY stuck.


Can I simply unplug the harness all together or do I need this part replaced? It was recalled but they denied to cover mine... just lost on how to fix this without going to the stealership and paying over $1k for them to fix it and then charge to me program my remotes.
