Well if you got 29k tied up...and decide to trade , you will take a financial bath. The warranty is cancelable so you will get a prorated refund in a matter of weeks...if you have a claim under your extended warranty you may need to read the fine print...Don't treat the rep looking at your car bad...he didn't build it and you won't get anywhere arguing with him or her...Good luck with your delima...oh yes do not give the rep any indication that you will get rid of it when it's fixed...his motivation to help you will go down the tubes...Most manufactures have a "good will" policy....there are circumstances they will step in and repair or split costs with owner depending on situation...this is where being civil comes into play.

Keep a written log of issues, dealer visits, phone calls, mileage, other pertinent notes and details. Make sure you get names of people you talk to. Be meticulous. It matters to Nissan. It will get you further. Good luck. Hope it all works out for you.

You guys just wait for my story. You won't believe a single word of it that's how bad it is. I'm a very patient person but I don't like being screwed over. I really feel sorry for you man, my car was at the dealership for over seven weeks and they destroyed it rather than fix. I'll post the story soon enough

By the way my car is a 2014 with only 11,000 miles. I got it last year and it's been in the service department more than I have had a chance to drive it and keep it at home, seriously.

I have a 2014 and pushing 19,000 but no problems as of yet. Reading some of this stuff scares the crap out of me. I was smart enough to get a extended warranty that will last until the day I pay the car off for just in case stuff like this. Sad to see that some are having issues but with that the information that the rest of use who have not had any problems so far is priceless. |

Dang bro you're lucky! It's sad to own a car and never have the chance to drive it because it's always at Nissan for things wrong with it. -Raj |

Yeah...lol. That's quite a hit...considering I spent almost everything I had on the car. Paid it off immediately, and now I'm supposed to lose 5-7 grand? I paid the money thinking that the car would be problem-free. Hell, I've bought cars for 500$ that didn't have a single problem the entire time I owned them. You can buy two decent used cars for 5-7k..
We'll see what the engineer says on Monday and go from there. |

Imagine how I feel spending 40 grand (paid on the spot) on a brand new sport touring and it having even more issues than your car lol. My transmission has been pulled 2 times going on 3 with only 11k miles. Taking a hit sucks on any car whether it is new or used. -Raj |
