Tire protection plan...I think someone stabbed one of my tires

I work in Newark nj daily and my car is parked outside daily. Now there is also alot of wood debris,metal,nails, ect. On the roads where I do drive. I'm extra careful when I'm driving. Now I get back to shop at 7... I get in my car I drive for maybe 10 seconds and I saw my check pressure come on...I got home...I check all the tires with my gauge it was dark out, so I went to the rear tire and it had absolutely nothing in it. I tried filling it up, I heard a huge leak front side wall... now how will warranty take this... they don't cover for vandalism. I personally think it's possible that road hazards caused it...pot holes,metal scraps,wood debris that's what it says in the warranty. I also got the car for 23,000$ and its 2 months old...

Bring it in, tell them exactly what happened, and don't add your own analysis.

You cant be sure it was vandalism any more than you can be sure it was road debris. Its flat. Thats all you know. Good luck.

I would just bring it in. Give no details just that you have a flat.

As others have suggested, take it in, tell them you have a flat, then shut up.

A neat small hole (ice pick) or a small slit (knife) will often be vandalism. An irregular shaped or large puncture is often road debris.

Thanks all...I got it in, my dude at the dealership looks at it real quick and goes "yup road hazzard" they're putting a brand new one on tuesday. We looked at the video today and some ignorant moron did actually kneel down to tie his shoe by my car and shanked the tire what a moron... people are unreal

Unless there is a knife sticking out of it, it was road debris.

Hell, maybe there was a knife laying in the road, you don't know.

Exactly!!!! I was freaking out all day... I had the car for a month brand spanking new, I thought I would be paying 400 for a new tire.
