370z won't start!!! Problem not **steering wheel lock**

Don't know if anyone else has been having this problem but I've also not found any threads with the similar problem.
2010 370z won't starting up.
when i press the clutch and try to start it, it just goes to ACC then i press it again and it just goes to start but doesn't turn on press it one more time and it goes off.
i took it to the dealership and they said it was the push to start button and put an order in for the part but they said it was on back order part number they gave me was 251511aa9b which is the ignition switch
total cost with the dealership after install and all would be about $350
i bought the cool GTR switch installed it and still same thing can anyone help?!?!?!? PLEASE!!!!

could also be your clutch interlock switch, some members have documented the same symptoms when the clutch interlock switch goes bad or gets dirty

heres the link to the thread discussing how to remove and clean/replace the interlock switch http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...ng-lock-4.html

yah wheee! figured it out on his MT.

AT has a brake switch that is known to cause the same problem on some cars.

overall failure rate is fairly small for this issue
