Mama mia.

Hmm...sounds like the techs really know what they're doing :ugh2:

I'm glad to hear you're finally getting the car back. Did note down your mileage? I suggest doing a full inspection of the vehicle for any damages before driving off. Last time I left my car at the dealer for a week, it came back with hundreds of tiny rock chips all over the front bumper, had I not catch it I would have had to pay out of pocket to fix it.

Get them to inspect/replace the CMC. You should be back on the road after that.

Edit, or get yourself the 2016 GTR ;)

Oh yeah, good point Mr. Gale ... If they didn't replace the CMC at the same time as the CSC you will be going back to the dealer soon I bet. At least it is easy compared to the CSC labor.

Soooooo... Car is fine. Drives good, no damage, they didn't drive it too much.

However...

I noticed that my Valentine 1 radar detector was stolen. It was most likely the guys that towed the car to the dealership. I filed a police report with the company's name and number, the driver's name and number, and I also made a claim with my insurance company since they are the ones I called.

I can't catch a break here. I'm a decent guy. What did I do to deserve this?!?!

:(

WTF people!! Jeez man, sorry to hear :( Glad the car is at least driving well :driving:

Oh hell. I'm sorry to hear man. Don't count out one of the low labor working at the stealership.

We lost two gps at the Mbz stealership last year on two consecutive visits. The first time I didn't think it was them because I only noticed it missing a couple days later. Second time I made sure to check for it when I picked up the car, sure enough it was missing, I complained to the managers and they investigated. I got a call a few days later that they had "found" the gps, their excuse was the person cleaning our had removed it when he was doing the interior. Why would he need to take my gps out from the car is just in excusable, it wasn't mounted on the windshield, my wife had kept in stored in the center console inside a leather case :shakes head:

It could be... but the service guy I dealt with has been with the dealership for years, he was the first person to get in the car and he says he doesn't remember seeing a radar in the car. He also told me that they haven't had any reports of stolen items for many, many years.

Now when I called the tow truck company and told them something was stolen from my car, they said: "Oh, sorry to hear that." That's all they said. Didn't even sound surprised. Almost like, oh well didn't you know that we were going to steal everything in your car that wasn't bolted down?

I also found out today that the punk stole my mini maglite LED flashlight!!! I loved that thing!

Anyway, I filed the 2 reports so we will see what happens.

Back to the car:

I may be imagining things, but there may be some validity to the story that they put in an updated part. The clutch engages MUCH smoother now, just like a normal car! No more juddery take offs, just nice and smooth. Could all just be in my head, but I don't think so...

Maybe, we would certaily hope after years of reported csc issues Nissan has finally releasing an upgraded version, or maybe they just bled the line properly, who knows, we'll just wait and see. I'm really hoping your car will go many years without anymore csc problem. Unlike this member here, johnwiki, he's on his 3rd visit! :icon14:
