I want my Roaster exhaust to be loud!!!

which is the best out there. Money is unlimited for this. I past a corvette the other day and it sounded amazing; the earth was shaking as i stood there..lol

You do not have the balls to run something that loud...

RandyD 08-01-2012 03:26 PM

AAM competition Ti-Tip short tails ftw :)

Quick370z 08-01-2012 04:06 PM

i just have the stillen intakes/exhaust and thats enough to make people go wow

but obviously theres 'louder' exhausts

cdoxp800 08-01-2012 04:24 PM

FI long tube headers. Yea, I say leave it open headers. That will be loud for-sure

GTHAUS Meisterschaft GTS Ultimate Performance Exhaust is definitely loud.

Italy- I have not done my research on the Ark Grip V2 yet. What does the exhaust sound like compared to others??? How much are you looking to get for it? No problems on 2010 Z roadster??? Thanks

jlbrenne 08-02-2012 09:09 AM

Highway- I def. like GTHaus | Meisterschaft Exhaust Systems. However, for a full catback they quoted me $2,844 shipped. To me that is just waaaay to much. Hell, I would pay a little over $2k but not $$$3,000 for an exhaust. Does sound fantastic though. Im lookiing for the that sound but jsut a little cheaper

Wait a minute so money is not unlimited for this?!?! What about wait time? If you can wait 3-4 months for it to be built I would look at Fast Intentions. Go non-res and it will be very loud. I just put my 18" res with HFCs on and it is loud when on the gas and sounds great at idle. I can't imagine how loud the non-res version would be in comparison in person. It will run you roughly $1400 or less depending on if you go resonated or not. Unless you want CF cans that will cost you $275 more on top.

There are some vids in the link.

Fast Intentions

Fast Intentions Non-Resonated Test Pipes and Non-Resonated Cat Back. The GT Haus is three times the price as this setup and I have still yet to see this exhaust make any gains.

wstar 08-02-2012 09:51 AM

FI's LTH + Catback are *really* loud in combination with each other. I don't think you can get must louder without dropping the catback completely (which would probably be horrible for performance anyways).

jlbrenne 08-02-2012 11:56 AM

Yeah, I think im going to go with the Meisterschaft. Hopefully, it wont be to loud on my roadster when the top is down :)

jlbrenne 08-02-2012 11:57 AM

I honestly, just like the rumble of a loud exhaust initially when you start the car..That Holy **** whos car is that.

Kingbaby 08-02-2012 01:04 PM

Correct we all do! The thing is to most a loud exhaust gets boring real quick when you can't hear your music...when you can't have a conversation in your car...

The downside always cause folks to switch exhaust often!

I would recommend a cutoff valve so that I'd and when you want the loud...it's a button away...

jlbrenne 08-02-2012 07:49 PM

Hmmm...I didnt know that you could do a cutoff valve switch...how does something like that work. Is it common enough that any muffler shop can install..and why doesnt everyone get a switch?????
