Unhappy Parts for 370 Roadster top

I bought my 2010 370Z Roadster in July. Was on a road trip in Colorado to enjoy the fall colors. The top started to grind, open and close slow, and then wouldn't function. Manually closed and came home.
The dealer stated, they had to order the hydraulics. Part is $3500, Part#97093-1et0a....but under warranty, so not a problem.....but it has been over 3 months and the part is still not available ....back ordered. Thank god its cold. I searched and nothing is available anywhere.
Does anyone have any idea why this one part doesn't appear to be available? Dealer has no clue as to why it's taking so long to get the part.
