squeak and rattle from top cover?

Do any other roadster owners get a bit of a clunk now and again from the cover that comes down over the top? I get it more often with the

Default squeak and rattle from top cover?

Do any other roadster owners get a bit of a clunk now and again from the cover that comes down over the top? I get it more often with the top UP than down.

I do get some rattle from the trunk, but not from the top cover. I can only hear it if I'm not listening to music (and the top is up), so I never hear it =)

I guess mine could be from the trunk...I mainly hear it in corners if I hit a bump...

i only hear a rattle outside the car when the music is loud, but cant hear anything now, someone hit my roadster with a metal pipe between the trunk and right above the gas cap its in the shop now

yeah, I had to replace the driver's side rear fender and taillight after a parking lot mishap and I don't recall the occasional clunk of the top cover prior to the bodywork. Of course I only had 150 miles on the car before the bodywork

oh dude-I am sorry to hear that.
My roadster does not make noise-yet...got about 600 miles on her.

Tell me about it...4 days, 150 miles and a new f*ck*ng quarter panel and taillight...and 2 weeks in the shop. Had I stopped cursing long enough I would have cried.

a note on your car would have been nice....I think I would cry. I park in a hospital deck too where overworked type A's peel out....I am holding my breath lol
